Sleepy Hollow
Jonny Dept stars in the horror based on the story of the headless horseman. A slightly weird police man is sent from New York to the little villiage of Sleepy Hollow where strange murders have been taking place. Victims bodies are found with there heads missing. The people of the town believe it is the headless horseman, but he is not convinced
Sixth Sense
The film begins with a man and his wife enjoying a romantic dinner together. Suddenly there is a noise from upstairs and the man goes up to investigate. Stood in his bathroom is an obviously mad man. He is stood only in his under-pants. The man however seem to recognise him and tells him to carm down. But the other man refuses.
"You said that you could help me," the man cried. "You said that the voices in my head weren't real." With that he takes out his gun and shoots the doctor.
The Haunting
A doctor researching fear decides to test his theories by inviting 4 people to live in "The House on Haunted Hill".
He tells them that he is researching insomnia. One of the people who he invites is called Eleanor. She nursed her dying mother for most of her life and is only too happy to join the research. Then however things start to happen in the house that even the doctor can’t explain and Eleanor starts to think the house wants her.
Scream
A young girl sits at home watching TV and eating popcorn. The telephone starts to ring and she answers it. She doesn't know the man that is ringing her, but at first he seems friendly and she is only to happy to talk to him. But then he starts to get really pushy and starts asking her questions. She tells him that she is going to put the phone down and he starts to treaten her. He tells her to look out of the back window. She is scared and does what is asked of her. She opens the curtain and see her boyfriend - dead.
Scream is back! Hollywood heard about what happened in the first scream and launched a movie about it. It was so successful that nobody could wait for the sequal.
A man decideds to take his girlfriend to see it. The cinema is completly full, everbody is in a good mood and lots of people are having fun with there scream masks pretending to murder each other. Nobody realises however that two people in the cinema really are being stabbed to death!
The Candyman
Two women at university are studying urban myths for their degree. The choose to focus on the Candyman. A ghost who has, supposedly murdered a number of victims with the aid of his terrifying hook. They trace him to a dangerous apartment block and find some very strange things. Is the Candyman real? Or is it just a myth?
A reporter meets a shy scientist at a party. They start to talk about his inventions and he invites her back to his labs. He shows her his latest invention; a transporter. At the present time it can only transport objects, but over time he and the report become closer and with her help, he teaches it how to transport living things. Meanwhile however the reporter is having trouble with her ex. When the machine is finally ready he tests it on his chimp. The animal seems fine and they decide to celebrate. However she is they called away by here evil ex and he gets jelous (and drunk) and decides to test the machine on himself.
The Mummy
A long, long time ago in acient Egypt there was a high priest. He was secretly in love with the pharos daughter. They met in secret but one day they were discovered. The killed the man that saw them but they realised that this alone would not stop them being seperated. The girl stabbed herself and the priest promised to bring her back from the dead. The guards walked in and found the girls dead.
She was taken to the city of the dead to be made into a mummy. The priest broke into the tomb and started to bring her back to life. Just before it was complete he was stoped by guards. His punnishment was for him and his priests to be burried alive! They implanted a curse on his tomb: if it was ever broken there would be a plague all over the world.
Psycho
This is one of the classic horror movies. It is not half as frightening as Scream and Seven, but it is the begginning of an era. The plot is well thought out; the acting is superb. It has a twist at the end which you would never expect.{\rtf1
The Texas Chainsaw massacre
This has to be THE most frightening film I have ever seen. The scenes are horrific, violent and sure to give even the most fanatical movie fan nightmares for weeks.
